Cuckoo 🐣 The newborn phase is not easy. Especially if both you and your partner are absolutely sleep deprived and you have only each other to get rest time. 😫😴

Newborns need you constantly — your arms, your warmth, your presence. This isn’t dependency. It’s biology. It’s attachment. It’s how they learn safety 🤍

One day he won’t need me like this anymore… so for now, I hold him a little longer 🤍

💁🏽‍♀️ did you know newborns…

• can’t regulate emotions alone
• recognize and calm to their mother’s voice and heartbeat
• don’t have a sense of separation yet
• build lifelong security through responsive care

This phase is intense, but it’s temporary — and deeply important. This is why I just can’t imagine how our government doesn’t recognize this need to the point where paternity and maternity leave covers at least the first year of caregiving. 😞 it’s for the sake of humanity, to build more loving and secure personalities out there. We are in need of that..

A small piece of freedom, one walk at a time 🕊️

For 1 week, I lived inside my bedroom.. And the 2nd week inside our home - in recovery, in healing, basically in survival mode for the first days even 🤍

Postpartum, especially the 2nd time around, slowed me down in ways I didn’t expect and showed me a different angle to life.

In the 3rd week, I stepped outside my home with my newborn strapped close as now I could carry him after a C-section. And for the first time in a long while, I felt like I have some form of freedom and could breathe again 🌿

This carrier didn’t just carry my baby, it carried me back to myself. My body grew and carried life inside, and now it carries my baby out into the world again 🌍👶🏻

💁🏽‍♀️ Did you know that a baby carrier

Welcome to this 🌎 our little sweet and charming Nolan 👶🏻. A new little soul. A new rhythm. We end this year with a love we didn’t know could grow this deep. Despite the rough pregnancy journey and almost not knowing if i would be able to make it out alive (literally 🩸💉), every single thing was worth it, just to have you healthy in my arms. Ginza is where Tokyo’s modern luxury meets timeless tradition. I did not come to Japan for luxury brands nor window shopping so this visit was just around an hour for us, but it’ super worth it especially unique to experience the pedestrian paradise for the first time. So, I suggest to time it then.

It was such a peaceful way to discover a new country’s history with both Sofia and Loïc. Literally, no one was there and we entered less tthan an hour before closing. It felt magical. It’s absolutely crazy the energy that passion can give you (happily doing late nights and almost 24-hour shifts) 🥰

Better late than never... in posting my most recent holiday mood in Spain. Went through a few days of detoxing from social media and just focused on the moment. I highly recommend it.

It is important to feel socially responsible for the things you do and to understand what your place is in this world in order to create some sort of impact to humanity. We even started before the RHO Fiera was built. Times have changed a lot and vendors come and go.
